Can someone please let me know how to comply with the below Survey recommendation for a C&C35 MkI. My Insurer is requiring compliance, which I am happy to do provided that it doesn't cost me $$$$$$.
B.10 (PAGE 10) FIXED FIRE EXTINGUISHING SYSTEM (HALON TYPE):No fixed fire fighting system on vessel. As per ABYC A-4.5.2.2, A single suitably sized portable fire extinguisher provided and installed in proximity to a port to permit discharge directly into the engine compartment without opening the primary access.
