Thanks for the response, Edd.

That makes sense. Even just a 20 gallon tank would weigh in at close to
200lbs when full. I would think it would affect balance to have just one. I
will look again under the main cabin seating. The 33 three quarter tonner is
laid out very differently from even the MK type 33s. Head is forward, no V
berth. 2 quarter berths and 2 single berths in the main cabin (seating).
Spartan to say the least. I think one of the former owners set her up for
racing, thus the lack of fresh water tanks, etc.

Burt,

Congrats on the purchase of your C&C!

            I used to have a 1978 C&C 34, which, I believe, is very similar
to your 33. There were two water tanks - one on port, one on starboard, both
under the seating.

                All the best,

                Edd

Hi all,

This may seem like a trivial question but I just took ownership of a 1974 33
three quarter tonner. Going through the boat for the first time I found that
there is no water tank but it seems like there was one at some time. There
is a water fill on the deck connected to nothing and a small sink in the
"galley" just below the companionway with no drain connected. My question
is: did these boats come stock with a water tank (or option for one) and if
so where would it have been located? I would like to install one but don't
see much room except aft below the cockpit.
