Hi Richard! I'm a little leery of being a 2 boat owner. Mostly because i don't
want to pay storage for Lolita as it just takes away from what I may or may not
get from the sale price. However, currently I have a thought of hauling her to
my house and finishing the restoration as a project if I don't get too much
interest here before haul out. Actually, I'm thinking I should do it if I have
to store it this winter. I think the price to haul to my house and back would
be comparable to storage fees. Right now all she really needs is a finishing.
Paint and varnish below and I could chip away at that all winter for the cost
of the finishes and such. Trying to do that with the boat 30 miles from the
house is problematic. The commute time alone could be all coating time! I
could also remove the rest of the deck hardware and seal the rest of the
penetrations, just so i can say I did!. It may or may not raise the value I
can ask but, it would sure make her more desirable. Worst case scenario is we
have a great little weekender/day sailor for next year! I wish I was talented
enough to spray the decks myself I don't really want to roll and tip and I
don't really want to remove all the hardware and not coat the decks. After all
coating is the easy part! Who knows...another adventure begins I guess...

Danny, and all; I did exactly that a couple of years ago...I found a 33-II
which was the boat of my dreams, until we needed just a little more room, after
much searching, voila, I'm now a happy 37 ownerwith the 33 for sale...I have
not regretted it one bit...good luckRichard1985 37 CB  Ohio River, Mile 584;

Hello all, Well it is with mixed emotions that I've put Lolita up for sale.
she is listed on CL and SailboatListings I'd add the link but I don't want to
break any rules. I'm kinda sad about it... I've really grown quite attached to
her. We been through a lot together over the last few years and what a fun
boat to sail!!! We just really need a little more on the creature comforts and
I'm a bit too tall for her accommodations. Anyway, let me know if you have any
leads. I think this boat is a bargain, especially with all the new systems...
We're still researching options for our next boat and always open to
suggestions. A trade with someone looking to downsize is always an option as
well! Danny
