Diesel with a 2;1 transmission?

I have a 11.5 x 8 Gori 2 blade folding on a 1:1 Atomic 4,
and it is slightly "over prop'd".

The math for the pitch part of it is straightforward.

((( Pitch X "efficiency" X RPM ) / 12 ) X 60 ) / 6076

Assuming an efficiency of 85% and a shaft RPM of 900
( engine 1800 ):

11 X 0.85 X 900 / 12 X 60 / 6076

6.9 kts

On a 30-1 the largest prop diameter I would try without
hearing some sage advice from this group is 15. The combination
of down angle and offset with a large prop size might
end up generating a lot of prop walk.

Hello Gary,
I too have a C&C 30 and am debating either a Gori or a FlexoFold. Do you
remember what size Flexofold you have, and can you comment if it seems the
right size. The recommendation Flexofold have made to me is  2-blade 15x11R.

Thanks,
Alan
