That's one thing that wasn't mentioned. The Lewmars release under load. Many of the "cam" type rope clutches need help.
I'm fairly picky about brands in several areas. If I I had to rate my two highest hardware recommendations, they would be Lewmar rope clutches and Harken travelers. Dennis C.
