I posted a question last fall about how to get new cable for a wheel pilot through the pedestal as I could find a way to access the bottom of the pedestal. I wanted to report back that I figured it out. In taking out the propane tank, I had to remove a large fiberglass panel that sits on the cockpit floor behind the wheel. It has two access hatches and that is where I reach in to open the propane tank valve. I had never had that panel off, but when I removed it to get to the propane tank, it also gave access to the bottom of the pedestal at the forward end. Probably obvious in retrospect, but I had missed it. Now about fishing wire through. Whats the best way to join the old and new wheel pilot wires to pull through? It looks like a very narrow opening through a grommet so I am worried that taping the two together won’t fit. Dave
