Agreed, That's why I try and prioritize the stuff by "must do" vs "nice to have". I do my best to get the "must do" well and fairly expeditiously, the rest is somewhat "maniana" because it's lower on the priority list than racing / cruising with the family..
That's in contrast with 4 out of 6 of my dock neighbors that seem to place constantly working on the boat as the top priority. To each his own, I'd rather be sailing (Like the 70's bumper sticker used to say :-) ) At least my dock looks nice, with clean and well maintained boats.
