I have two empty moorings good for up to a 40 ft boat with 6 ft draft and there are 3-4 inexpensive ($30) transient moorings right next to mine that can take 7 ft draft. I also can set up an inexpensive dock for the night, but no showers amenities. These moorings are just a 1/4 mile from Fishers Island Sound. Simple navigation, even I don't get lost or hit anything. If you need showers or slips with all the doodads there are three marinas at the mouth of the river. Ice, fuel, etc. My car will be here if anyone needs a lift to the store or into Mystic. There is also a pharmacy in case David Risch needs to stock up on nitroglycerin, viagra, ibuprofen, and axe body spray.
