You could look at Castrol Braycote 601. It is a perflouoronated grease taht we used in missile controls. It is basically an inert grease that should be compatible with the plastics. Only downside is that it is about a $100 an ounce.

I bought some Harken winch grease today and it specifically says it is not intended for plastic rollers and to use an oil instead. The bearings certainly had been greased by whomever last worked on them. What are the groups thoughts on this? Thanks- Dave
