I tried cleaning mine, but they had taken on the smell of mold and wouldn't let go. Took one apart to experiment. Washed it several times, and used a whole bottle of febreeze on it. Still stunk like mold. So I got new cushions, and it looks like a new boat inside! Definitely worth the investment.
