Our old boats were not designed for refrigeration. You will definitely need more insulation from what was originally supplied with the boat. In fact, if you look at the interior ceiling of your icebox, there is no insulation at all there unless a previous owner added some. There are a lot of discussions about converting the old ice boxes to refrigeration on this forum.
