My exterior teak has nothing but the occasional squirt with a hose for the 20 years or so. I used to oil it, but it wore off or turned black so quick I gave up on it.
I finally have decided to work on it, I have one teak rail home for sanding. I think sealing with thinned epoxy might be a good first step.
