The original recipe that was published here was 1 gal. warm water 2/3 cup ammonia 2 TBSP TSP
It works really well for removing old oil and dirt from the wood. You may need more than one application, and you do need to flush it well with clean water before refinishing. Jim Watts Paradigm Shift C&C 35 Mk III Victoria, BC
