West Marine has a version of this on their website. From my perspective as a EE (but certainly not a corrosion expert), Stan's suggestions seem to sum up the issues and possible remedies pretty well. There is no perfect solution, particularly regarding stray currents. At my "hot" marina, I go through two oversized shaft anodes every 5-6 months.
