I am more than a little confused here. Who is your insurance carrier? Why would they take some random internet person’s word for a boat’s value over an accredited marine surveyor? It is a bit odd this is even a question, I know what my hull value is already on my policy, it is plainly stated.

No insurance company will pay more to fix the boat than what you would pay to get another one.
