Nice work Neil! This summer I fabbed a new set of hatchboards for Grenadine, out of smoked plexiglas. Pics at https://drive.google.com/open?id=1GFqSU41Bv0cfXa5BV-eX9rTkK0avRAEe <https://drive.google.com/open?id=1GFqSU41Bv0cfXa5BV-eX9rTkK0avRAEe>.
I wanted the smoked plexiglas for the dark grey color to match my new black sail cover, plus to be able to see out when below. As a special touch I drilled upward-slanting ventilation holes in the pattern of the C&C star on either end of the cove stripe. Cost me ~$200 for the material, plus an hour or two drinking beer and operating table saw and drill press in my crew member Jerrod Milton’s wood shop.
