FYI – there are a few layers of spam filters. Some of them are under your control and some are not. There are a number of services that email providers can subscribe to for spam filtering and if your email gets on the list you can get trashed before your emails even get far enough for anyone to see them in their spam filter. The worst thing is when they block by IP range and while yourname.com has never done anything bad, DonkeyPornMcSpamFace.com has a server in the same data center on the same subnet and the whole subnet ends up blocked.
