Are you changing the filter at the same time? On my Atomic 4 if I change the filter and don’t fill the new filter up before screwing it back on the amount of oil that fills the engine to the full line becomes about half a quart low as soon as you run the engine and fill the empty filter. I also never get quite as much oil out of the engine as the manual says it holds.
