Max Prop said our 16” prop at 14° pitch would be way too open and would not enough bite which is why I could get to 3200 rpm very easily and barely moving.
We are going to redo the bottom completely with a slick paint instead of ablative and change the pitch to 18°. Will let you all know next season. Until then we will continue to sail fast. Happy sailing!
