I think this is a good idea. Definitely something we'll have to look at, likely down the road a bit.
FYI: Windows 7 actually has a REALLY cool problem recording tool built in-and it's intended for anyone to be able to capture data to send to a developer/that shows the problem. In the start menu "Record Steps to reproduce a problem" See the type of file it produces here: http://coapp.org/custom/report-test.zip (I did it on my machine with 6 monitors, so the screenshots are a little, uh... large) G Garrett Serack | Open Source Software Developer | Microsoft Corporation I don't make the software you use; I make the software you use better on Windows. Something more human, not like a robot bug reporter and invisible solver mechanism (maybe for the others that not report or live with the bug), something like: hey User I'm a developer and I take your problem like it was mine, so lets communicate when it would be necesary to solve it quickly. __ * My applications are automagically kept up to date (?) Only if I want it that way, maybe I want to keep my old libraries or versions for my convenience. But it would be a nice feature. 2010/5/6 Geoffroy Couprie <[email protected]<mailto:[email protected]>> On Thu, May 6, 2010 at 9:31 AM, Adam Kennedy <[email protected]<mailto:[email protected]>> wrote: > On 6 May 2010 17:09, Geoffroy Couprie > <[email protected]<mailto:[email protected]>> wrote: >> The system administrator: >> *I can easily deploy and update applications on my servers/on my >> user's computers > > ... and out across my entire network automatically via Active > Directory group policy. > Of course :) _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~coapp-developers Post to : [email protected]<mailto:[email protected]> Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~coapp-developers More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp -- Atte: Roberto Carlos González Flores ************************************************************************ Si supiera que el mundo se acaba mañana, yo, hoy todavía, plantaría un árbol.
