Gmail, Thunderbird, etc, have top replying as well. It's just more natural to read the reply right away instead of scrolling down hundreds of lines of message to get to a reply.
I don't have a problem with HTML, just that some people like putting pictures in their sig which cause every message to appear to have an attachment on it. Trev.
