[cobalt-developers] OT ? GnuJsp Installation

Hi,

I've been installing jserv and JSP support using the instructions posted on
http://www.inicom.com/jspcob.html. I wondered if anyone had used ApacheJServ
/ GnuJSP with jikes and especially if anyone has used the Inicom
instructions.

I've followed the instructions right through to the end and it all works
fine except any attempt to view *.jsp pages results in a HTTP 500 - Internal
server error.

I've attempted to check for errors but being rather more experienced at
Win/Mac platforms, I'm not totally sure where to start - one area that I'm
not too sure about is, to quote Inicom, "Make sure that the log files and
scratch directory selected exist. Also verify that all .jar files are where
you said they are. "

I'm not sure if this is a Cobalt, Linux or JSP issue - if I'm asking the
wrong forum, mea culpa - I'll post to a more appropriate one if someone can
be kind enough to point the way.
