You should only name an IP address once. Are you using NameVirtualHost more 
than once for the same IP? This could be confusing Apache.

SSL is port 443, not 80. Under most circumstances, you shouldn't SSL all of 
your web sites. This will slow down your web server considerably. Further, 
you should need to define two virtual hosts, one for 443, one for 80, for the 
same web site. 

We use Raven SSL (www.covalent.com) as it's Apache SSL version rocks.
