Thanks for asking for input. At the least, you might wish to include support
for:
MySQL
LDAP
Oracle
Another module is GTK (http://gtk.php.net/), although this needs X Windows
libraries installed, and think about making PHP as a standalone binary, so it
can run scripts outside of the Web server.
If you really want to add value, consider adding the Midgard module,
which is available from http://www.midgard-project.org.
This provides a very comprehensive database-centered Web content management
and application development system, with excellent support for Virtual sites
under Apache.
We're also developing on Cobalts with Ars-Digita ACS 4.0, but that's based on
TCL, not PHP.
Finally, a little off-topic, but I'm curious to know if you support extending
the Perl-based admin interface with hooks for administering applications we
build. I've looked, but can't see it documented anywhere.
