names cannot be duplicated, but email aliases can. That is usually the
biggest issue we have. I have ALL sites use a unique naming scheme to
prevent problems, ie:
www.xyzdomain.com starts all user names with xyzd
www.zyxnamedomain.com starts all user names with zyxn
I use the 1st 4 letters of the domain then 4 letters of the user's real
name, ie:
[EMAIL PROTECTED]
Then email aliases can have the *real* names known to the outside world.
In answer to your question *why...* - no idea, I just do what I need to do
and that's the end of it.
