Hi Steve, I believe he said that he was going out of town, but it was just
miss configurations in config.inc.php. You know how you would be when you
are doing something heavily and then loose control,,, sometimes it happens
to me and I can't see the small problem 'cause I be working heavily on
fixing the error so that's what happened I guess with him, and it eventually
turned out to be the password for root which wasn't configure although he
did try it before using it, but then he forgot to put it back.

Perhaps you can post the fix so that future Cobalt admin with the same
problem who search the list archives can know what to do.  I took the time
to make several suggestions, speculated what I thought the cause might be
and asked a number of questions that would get at the root cause so I'd be
interested to know myself.
