ok it was a give away in the title ;)

i understand the records stores all the pri. files for DNS, and we back this
up manually, in the event of a loss the GUI will read in the records file
and write out all the pri's (yes?) So no other DNS info is stored in the
Cobalt DB?

PS (Taco) this migration has been done as result of the that issue i had
recently with my RaQ turning website into ?-xS-x- jargon files!  I wasn't as
lucky as I hoped the box will need a format :(

I can highly recommend rysnc (rsync.samba.org) as it saved my box ! I'd
recommend EVERY sysadmin to check it out. trust me its worth testing.

DNS settings will NOT be migrated. It is called a SITE migration utitlity ;)
To move dns over, try to copy the file /etc/named/records over to your new
raq and see if it works.
