You can find the tech note describing how to install Oracle 8 on a RaQ 3 at the

Please note that the directions were written up when the current release of Java
was 1.2.2 and I do not believe jdk 1.3(+) has been tested but I don't foresee any
difficulties. Also, the location of the xfree package (among others) has changed
since the creation of the tech note so you may have to inquire directly with Cobalt
to find the current location of these files on their public server(s).
