Yes, I have done it with the new PHP 4.0.5 and the Cobalt Sausalito. It does however
require access to some source codes, which Cobalt does not include on the box.
Therefore it is not really an easy job.
Have you considered installing two seperate version of PHP? (i.e. having the old
Cobalt one, and installing a new one on a seperate port for your own PHP stuff?)
