We're using Ultradev on a Mac attempting to setup a connection to a DBase V file on a
Cobalt Raq 4 using Chilisoft ASP and we're having real problems - if anyone has any
ideas / experience on this any help at all would be greatly appreciated.
Specifically, we are not really sure of what application server settings are needed.
On the Raq, we realise that the root folder is /web/ which you have to enter to FTP
using Dreamweaver. When this same folder is set for the ASP server, we get errors
informing us that the ASP does not apply to the necessary folder. If we try to connect
leaving the root folder (in Ultradev) blank then the DSN test gives no error but the
ODBC box is blank containing no entries. We have tested the DSN server side (using
Chilisofts built in test page) with no problem. Also, the test page can be viewed in a
browser fine, no errors - it is specifically in Ultradev that the connection can be
made.
Any assistance or experience of using Ultradev + Raqs / Chilisoft would be great. Has
anyone got Ultradev to connect to a Raq succesfully ?
