I'm assuming that you are running a Qube2 not a Qube3.
On a Qube2, the size of messages (including attachments) going to groups is
hardwired into the majordomo config file for each group.
You can edit the config file or edit the perl script which creates it.
If you simply modify the config file, your changes will be overwritten the
next time a user is added or removed from the group.
To change the list preference for all future mailing lists, change the
following line in /usr/local/majordomo/config_parse.pl
'maxlength', '40000', # Set max article length
To change the list preference for each existing mailing list, search for
each list's configuration file, such as home.config, and change the
following line in /usr/local/majordomo/lists/home.config
maxlength = 40000
