Hello. For the past few days I've recieved messages from cron complaining that it can't access the file '/var/log/httpd/access_log'. I'm not too surprised - that file doesn't exist, and never has. I have an 'access', but no 'access_log'.
These messages appear to co-incide with the installation of the new Webalizer 1.3 package. I've tried grepping through the /etc/cron. daily directory and can find no reference to a file 'access_log'. Any clues? Here's the message in full: Message 1: >From root Mon Oct 22 04:13:25 2001 Date: Mon, 22 Oct 2001 04:13:14 +0100 From: root (Cron Daemon) To: root Subject: Cron <root@brickwall> run-parts /etc/cron.daily X-Cron-Env: <SHELL=/bin/bash> X-Cron-Env: <PATH=/sbin:/bin:/usr/sbin:/usr/bin> X-Cron-Env: <MAILTO=root> X-Cron-Env: <HOME=/> X-Cron-Env: <LOGNAME=root> Error: Can't open log file /var/log/httpd/access_log Cheers, Ian _______________________________________________ cobalt-developers mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://list.cobalt.com/mailman/listinfo/cobalt-developers
