Mike,
I have a cobalt Raq3 and have been able to run simple console and cgi Kylix apps on it. I haven't done any database web app or web services etc. yet but, provided you put all the shared objects in place and have the appropriate LD_LIBRARY_PATH I don't see why it won't run. I'll get to that, actually I'm a newbie with Linux but the transition from win/delphi to linux/kylix is really easy and straightforward - no surprises. I do the development on a regular red hat 7.2 machine of course! :) Curiously, when I asked Borland about Cobalt support they were singularly unhelpful and very offhand. Let me know your progress offline. rgds, Craig "Take her out Mr. Mayweather, straight and steady." ----- Original Message ----- From: "Mike Jones" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Friday, December 14, 2001 5:10 PM Subject: [cobalt-developers] Cobalt development using Kylix > Hi, > > I am a Windows developer wishing to move some of my server based > applications to the Cobalt platform. > I currently develop in Delphi and am fairly confident that my apps will port > easily to Kylix.
