You could use an imaging program such as Symantec Ghost and "clone" the hard drive to a new one (that's less that 32gb). At the time of the cloning you will be asked what size you would like to resize the hard drive.
Otherwise, you could probably use a program such as PartitionMagic and put the hard drive as a slave on another PC and resize from there. - Desmond Fuller -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] On Behalf Of Frank Mattes Sent: Monday, January 07, 2002 9:54 AM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: [cobalt-developers] how to repartition hardisk of qube2 Dear developers, I'm hoping someone can help with my problem. My qube 2 has been installed with all the latest upgrades from sun/cobalt, and I have now the problem that the / partion has only 50 Mbyte free. In addtion I would like and add some packages from rehat which means I'm running out of space. Is there a way to install the system from the scratch with a different lay out ? (I have the cobalt restore cd) ? I appreciate any thoughts Frank Mattes Department of Virology Royal Free Hospital London __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
