Liam, Thank you for your reply! That was my first idea, too. The main reason I changed is because my client preferred http://(www.)uniqueusername.freehostingdomain.tld instead of http://www.freehostingdomain.tld/~uniqueusername
Secondly, in my humble not-a-programmer-nor-developper-opinion (:-) this may not work well anymore once you have 1.000 or 5.000 or more (!) users. Best regards, William. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Liam Delahunty" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Friday, February 15, 2002 5:47 PM Subject: RE: [cobalt-developers] Geocities / Homestead type of website Maybe I've got he wrong end of the stick here, but wouldn't you just need ONE site and hundreds of users? You wouldn't be setting up individual domains for them for free, so have your main site: http://www.freehostingdomain.tld and the space for the users would be: http://www.freehostingdomain.tld/~uniqueusername _______________________________________________ cobalt-developers mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://list.cobalt.com/mailman/listinfo/cobalt-developers
