I couldn't have said it better. Currently the server is still hosted on a Sun 
paid internet link as well, so really, it is not Sun's 'fault', but rather of 
some people that called (US) support and complained why they didn't get support 
when their webserver stopped working after installing Update 2.0. Without PHP 
4.0.6 from the pkg site they wouldn't have had that problem, and therefore 
support doesn't support them (free of charge).

To not confuse people I decided to move the site to a non-Sun, non-Cobalt 
domain.
