JJT> I am using numerous computers to check an email account on a JJT> RAQ3. Each terminal then processes the email(s) it JJT> receives. The problem is that ALL email in the spool file at JJT> that moment goes to which ever client checks it. I want to JJT> be able to limit qpopper to ONLY dispatch ONE message at a JJT> time so as the other email clients can in turn get one JJT> message each, thereby distributing the load. JJT> JJT> Can this be done? I've checked the archives and I've not JJT> seen it mentioned Not off the shelf; like Jeff said, it's custom development time. But it shouldn't be terribly hard to do. I'd have to look at Qpopper source, but I'd guess it would take less than an hour to modify and test. (I'm banking on Qpopper source being cleaner than, say, Sendmail... it's been awhile since I've looked.) -- Eddy Brotsman & Dreger, Inc. - EverQuick Internet Division Phone: +1 (316) 794-8922 Wichita/(Inter)national Phone: +1 (785) 865-5885 Lawrence ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Date: Mon, 21 May 2001 11:23:58 +0000 (GMT) From: A Trap <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: Please ignore this portion of my mail signature.
