Hi Guys, I have reason to believe that the RAID software in a Qube3 (running OS 6.4) gets the disks confused when it reports a disk failure.
One of my Qube3s reported disk A failed ... I replaced it ... it failed again within 24 hours ... very strange. This morning (about a week after the first incident) I received and installed yet another new disk in slot A ... it came up ... mirrored the disk ... all looked good until I started checking some data and email ... I have lost over a week of data! The Qube reported Disk A failed ... I'm betting its Disk B which has failed and hence when I replaced Disk A again this morning I removed the active disk and the "dead" disk mirrored onto the new disk. If I'm correct, this is a HUGE bug! Sorry I can't cut and paste the actual "Active Monitor" message ... it appears to be on the disk which is NOT currently in the Qube3.
