hi
well, if I only found the srpm's for this very kernel..
(and then not being afraid to kick the box is another thing)
already tried my own from a 2.2.16 kernel, but modprobe tells me to go away:
Warning: kernel-module minor version mismatch
/lib/modules/2.2.16C32_III+VPN/net/3c59x.o was compiled for kernel version
2.2.16
while this kernel is version 2.2.16C32_III+VPN
insmod will continue if kernel interface checksums match
/lib/modules/2.2.16C32_III+VPN/net/3c59x.o: module interfaces are not checksummed -
too risky to load module
/lib/modules/2.2.16C32_III+VPN/net/3c59x.o: insmod
/lib/modules/2.2.16C32_III+VPN/net/3c59x.o failed
/lib/modules/2.2.16C32_III+VPN/net/3c59x.o: insmod 3c59x failed
hmm, suggestions appreciated...
