OpenSSL does, but I do not want to break or screw up the partial installation of it. As when I do a locate openssl I do get /usr/lib/openssl.cnf /usr/sbin/openssl So part of it is there. libcrypto is part of a standard openssl installation. Not sure why it was either omitted or removed by Cobalt? Usually openssl comes with what is listed above and libcrypto.so libssl.so And some other doc and shared ssl files. Now libssl.so does exist on my machine but not libcrypto. Also when searching Cobalt's ftp site, I see no rpm or source rpm for openssl by itself. Just one called apache-openssl-1.3.20-RaQXTR_1C1.i386.rpm Which is most likely where the libssl.so comes from and why its in /usr/lib/apache. So I am not sure if the source rpm for this will give me the openssl.h header file I need. But then I still need libcrypto. Has anyone out there upgraded the version of openssl, or have any clue what version is on the Cobalt XTR? Thanks. -- Sincerely, William L.
