On one of my client's Sun Cobalt RaQ550s we're getting this error in the logs.
<snip> Nov 22 16:36:52 ns1 sendmail[4433]: gAN0aqp04433: SYSERR(wvtravel): Can't create transcript file ./xfgAN0aqp04433: Permission denied Nov 22 16:36:52 ns1 sendmail[4433]: gAN0aqp04433: SYSERR(wvtravel): Cannot create ./dfgAN0aqp04433: Permission denied <snip> This is a recently installed Sun Cobalt RaQ550 appliance, and presumably all the permissions are done right, and I don't have another 550 to check <frown>. I can't find anything on Google. Am I correct in presuming that the problem is with permissions in the mail queue? Or is this something else? Am I correct in presuming that the permissions should allow writing (and for directories executing) by root? Any ideas? Thanks for any help; Unfortunately I've a preplanned trip most of today and the client would love to have this fixed by tomorrow morning. I'll check the list when I return tonight, so if you've got any ideas, please pass them along. Thanks. Jeff -- Jeff Lasman, nobaloney.net, P. O.
