Hi Bruce,
- the server name sarrcom1.asp.be was renamed yesterday to cob2.sarrcom.com - this can
be any live domain name if I'm correct

- to reply to your question: I moved the domain by changing the nameserver info. The
nameserver entries point to the IP address on the new server. The settings on the old
server were not changed but since the nameservers aren't pointing to that server
anymore, that shouldn't really matter anymore, right? In any case, what I did (just
now) was remove the Email Server Aliases in the Site Settings

- I also did some more testing and something turned up. I went to a site called
http://www.domaindoctor.be/ and ran sarrcom.com through a test and it gave me the
following error:

Step 3. Checkup of the "start of authority" record in the authoritative nameservers
I have asked one of the authoritative nameservers (NS2.sarrcom.com) if he is indeed
authoritative for your domain name. This means that this nameserver contains an SOA
(Start Of Authority) record.

- Or in more detail (I have sent an email to ZoneEdit about this):

System.Net.Sockets.SocketException: No such host is known

myType, Boolean recursive) in c:\documents and settings\kb\my documents\visual studio

   at WebServiceDomainDoctor.wsDomainDoctor.CheckOne(String email, String password,
String domainName, DomainDoctorT

- When I checked sarrcom.com with http://www.checkdns.net there was no problem:
DNS server NS1.sarrcom.com [64.246.27.155] is alive and authoritative for domain
'sarrcom.com'
DNS server NS2.sarrcom.com [65.125.230.11] is alive and authoritative for domain
'sarrcom.com'
2 server(s) are alive

Some more 'good' news: mail does seem to arrive, however, it is delayed. This morning
I received a hundred or so mails from the past couple of days. However, as mentioned
in my original post people who send email do NOT receive a "failed message"
notification and mail does NOT arrive on the server (checked through Telnet).
Brgds,
Reginald

I tried sending you a test email. The reply when I connected indicates
that a server named sarrcom1.asp.be is actually answering as the mail
server:

[bruce bruce]$ mail -v [EMAIL PROTECTED]
