Hello, I ran into a problem ...
The nameserver on our RaQ timed out on addresses he did not know himself. Apparently the first forwarder did not want to be used as such anymore. After changing it to one of the provider where the server resides right now, it workes again (ok, we did move the server some time ago ...). What I don't understand: There is no statement "forward only" in the conf file. How comes. bind does not ask the root nameservers and resolves the address himself? Why do I even bother to keep the db.cache up to date?
