Hi out there,
has anybod made experiences with the Cobalt Migration Utility?
I try to move sites with users and users webs / subwebs from several RaQ4r to some
RaQXTR.
Everything seems to work, but the importer does not set up users or user directories.
It does
no changes in /etc/passwd, only in /etc/group. It does not insert the users-directory
with the
user files.
I configured the exporter to export everything, well indeed that seems to be the
standard config.
Anyway i sometimes had to re4store sites and users from scratch from backups. After
reinserting
users in the /etc/passwd and /etc/group, putting files back and meta-verify /
vsite.repair all
was fine - but this procedure is really ugly!
So if anybody made the cmu work - please let me know as i have to move some 100 sites!
