I have worked with Alex and purchased hardware from him several times. Although he can sometimes be hard to get a hold of, he is very good at what he does. I have been told by colleges that he was working for cobalt for a while before starting RaQport. (Just my 2 cents)
I would definitely recommend purchasing hardware from him over Sun or others.
