HELP!

I was in the process of reinstalling Nuonce's PHP 4.3.4 package (I
uninstalled it first), and it seemed to go ok, until the httpd refused to
start up again, as the httpd.conf file was referring to a non-existant
module:

Cannot load /etc/httpd/modules/libphp4.so into server:
/etc/httpd/modules/libphp4.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file
or directory

so I commented out this line:

#LoadModule php4_module modules/libphp4.so

and now at least the httpd starts

But my main problem is this:

now when I surf to http://testsite.digerati.com.au/admin (you'll see that
http://testsite.digerati.com.au is ok), I get an error in my browser (this
page cannot be displayed)

my httpd's access file reads:

testsite.digerati.com.au 203.55.204.4 - - [29/Dec/2003:13:43:44 +1100] "GET
/admin HTTP/1.1" 302 237 "-" "Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT
5.1)"

but nothgin is appended to the error log file.

Looking at httpd.conf, I see:

RewriteRule ^/admin/?$ http://%1:444/login.php [L,R]

and I have a login.php in ./usr/sausalito/ui/web/login.php

but why wouldn't it be working?

Do I have to reinstall the web administration system somehow? If so, can it
be done without losing all the user, email and web site configurations?

All advice gratefully received,

yours in abject panic ;-(

Adam.
