Hi Folks, Never done this (install a non-Cobalt fix/update) before so I could WELL be doing something wrong.
I went to Michael's sit and read everything. I have the two Cobalt fixes installed and wanted to install the latest Sendmail fix. So I went to BlueLinQ, checked Settings/Advanced and "Packages Must Be Authenticated" is DEFINITELY NOT checked. BlueLinQ servers has one entry of http://updates.cobalt.com/packages/ HTTP and FTP proxy are both blank. So I return and select Sun Cobalt Updates/Install Manually and have tried both the URL in the email AND downloaded the actual file (Qube3-Sendmail-8.10.2-SOL3.pkg) and both give me: Status - Qube3-Sendmail-8.10.2-SOL3.pkg There was an error verifying the package file. It may be corrupted, or it may not have the correct authentication information. The software package was not installed. Anyone have any ideas what is going on or what I am doing wrong :-) ? Thanks !
