Not really. This was Simi Valley, Calif., early to mid 80s, just after Trudi & I and the kids moved there. His place was called "Hopetown"; it had been an amusement park before he bought it, and he still allowed its use for community functions. So I was there for Simi Valley Wild West Days. He was there, in a reception line, but that's not really "meeting" someone. I used to see his white limo around town quite a bit, though only on the east end, near Hopetown and the stores right around Hopetown that catered to the long-term dwellers instead of the recent "development" people. Two of those stores were owned by a friend of mine, so I heard some secondhand stories, but that was it. Jeff -- Jeff Lasman, nobaloney.net, P. O.
