Many Thanks for that.

I have found one line and am happy to edit the file php.ini in /etc/httpd/ I
assume for the changes to take affect I would need to re-start the php
service even though I am trying to get ASP to work.

Steve,

I truly don't remember what he did, though I do remember there is an ASP
section on the php.ini file, though now that I think about it, it may have
been a compiled item in the php build.

Ah!! Found his email to me, here is a snip;

You ready for this one ... I actually just found ( like a day or two ago ) a
big problem with PHP (parts of it), and Chilisoft. I can NOT find a way to
fix it, to make it work HAPPY. So, I had to recompile PHP with some of the
stuff left out. Mainly: Sablotron, Expat, and something else ... well ...
when that runs in PHP, it causes ASP to Segfault 11 ... I have spoken to
most "vendors" ... they had no clue, the ones who were running it too ...
kind of strange. So, I was able to recompile PHP with out, and that is what
I just put on your box.

We actually installed php from source our selves since his packages are
designed to integrate with his location of mysql. So his php would not
function with our source installed mysql.

Doing a source install is pretty painless with 4.3.8. Just enter all the
compiled items you need. I think the latest requires mysql to be called and
it's location.

HTH...
