Cobbler and koan have always been GPL v2+. This hasn't changed, but I have updated the python source files in git to all have the appropriate headers. If reading just the headers, and not the file named COPYING, it might have given the impression they were GPL v1.
Just wanted to post that in case anyone wasn't aware and was curious about the git logs. This is /not/ about relicensing cobbler or koan, but about avoiding future license confusion.
